Jury - quickly - finds man guilty in 2013 stabbing death

YOUNGSTOWN — A Mahoning County Common Pleas Court jury has found Theodore Alexander guilty of the Sept. 29, 2013 murder of Ivan West, 27, of Liberty.

West was found stabbed to death in Alexander's apartment.

Jurors before Judge John Durkin heard closing arguments and deliberated less than an hour before reaching their verdict.

Testimony in the case began Wednesday. The jury was picked Tuesday.
