Hot Dog Day festival to take place Sunday

Harry Stevens Hot Dog Day will take place Sunday from noon to 9 p.m. on State Street, between Main and West Park, in downtown Niles. A performance stage will be set up on State Street.

The festival schedule includes a cornhole tournament at noon behind McKinley House; parade at 2 p.m.; the Summit Jammers Band at 2:45 p.m.; hot dog dressing contest at 3 p.m.; wiener dog race at 4 p.m. at the trailhead; Full House Band at 5 p.m.; raffle winners announced at 6 p.m.; and the Mitrega Brothers Band at 7:30 p.m.

On Monday, there will be fireworks downtown at 10 p.m.
