Woman gets defiant amid loud music. She also gets a ticket.

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a 65-year-old woman was cited early today for loud music coming from her home.

Officers were called about 2:40 a.m. to a home in the 400 block of West Judson Avenue and could hear music playing very loudly. Reports said the porch was littered with empty 24-ounce beer cans and a liquor bottle.

Officers had to knock and ring the bell several times before the homeowner, Lynette Childs, answered.

Reports said Childs appeared very drunk and told the officers she was in her home and was allowed to play the music as loud as she wanted.

She was issued a citation for playing loud music from a home and given a court date.
