Men injured when Warren house is shot at

WARREN — A man, 23, of Warren, suffered a serious gunshot wound to the leg when a house he was sleeping in on Deerfield Avenue Southwest was shot up at 3 a.m. today.

Another man in the house, also of Warren, was cut by flying glass from the gunfire, he told police.

Police recovered a shotgun near the house and found about 25 shell casings in the roadway from in front of the home to another nearby street.

The men said they looked outside and saw a white car leaving the area. The victim who suffered the gunshot wound was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
