SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Three members of Girl Scout Troop 80777 of Columbiana are working to earn their bronze award. The bronze award is the first of three high level awards to reach the gold award. Girl Scouts participate in projects that leave a lasting impression on the community to earn the awards. These scouts are researching Fairfield Township history and are helping create signage for the new Headwaters Nature Trail that Fairfield Township trustees are creating on township property. Donations toward the project are welcome and may be made by calling Crystal Siembida Boggs, troop leader, at 330-482-9105, or Barry Miner with Fairfield Township. Kneeling in front, are Girl Scouts Elizabeth Siembida, left, and Katrina Kaszowski; sitting is Karl Garwood; and standing are Siembida Boggs; Bob Hum, troop co-leader; Kathy Kaszowski and Miner. Girl Scout Emily Smith also is working on the project.
