Austintown Township will host a variety of events for its 40th annual Fourth of July five-day festivities:

TUESDAY

Concerts in the Park, 7 p.m., Austintown Township Park, 6000 Kirk Road; free

WEDNESDAY

Car show, 5 to 8:30 p.m., Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, 655 N. Canfield Niles Road; $3 registration fee

THURSDAY

Planet Fitness Freedom 5k, 6 p.m., will begin at 9/11 Memorial Park, 1051 S. Raccoon Road, and end at Fitch High School, 4560 Falcon Drive; $20 registration fee

SUNDAY

Fireworks and celebration, 4 p.m. gates open; 5 to 7 p.m. two live bands; 7 to 7:30 p.m. Austintown Fitch Alumni Band plays; 7:45 Buffalo Wild Wings will have Blazing Wing Challenge; 8 p.m. to 9:45 Northern Whiskey band plays and 10 p.m., fireworks show starts at the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Ave.; free

MONDAY

Flag raising ecumenical service, 8:30 a.m., Austin Log Cabin, 3797 S. Raccoon Road; free

Parade, 2 p.m., from Kirk Road to Fitch High School; free
