Summer sizzler

Hubbard Community Pool, 200 Hall Ave., will host its 12th annual Summer Sizzler from 1 to 5 p.m. July 16 at the pool.

There will be free swimming, a basket auction filled with gift certificates and donated items from area merchants, food for $1 with a choice of pasta and meatballs, pizza, hot dogs, nachos and cheese and ice cream cones.

A 5K run also will take place at 9 a.m. with registration at 8.
