Mooney president returning to parish ministry

YOUNGSTOWN

The Rev. Gerald DeLucia, Cardinal Mooney High School president, is leaving his position to return full time to parish ministry.

According to both a letter Father DeLucia sent to CMHS faculty and a CMHS press release, Father DeLucia announced he’s leaving his position to return to parish ministry duties including filling in for a pastor at St. Luke Parish.

Board of Education Chairman Dan Landers will serve as interim president of Cardinal Mooney during a nationwide search for DeLucia’s replacement, the press release says.
