Theft: An Erskine Avenue man reported $10 and a coin holder containing $20 worth of coins stolen from his vehicle.
Trespassing: Someone in the 7400 block of Ranier Trail rummaged through two trucks, though it appeared nothing was taken.
Theft: A plastic insert and $100 were missing from a car in the 700 block of Crestview Drive.
Theft: Police at Boardman Area Court on Market Street booked 29-year-old David J. Zadai of Pierce Road, Warren, on a felony-theft charge related to a May 21 shoplifting situation in which a leaf blower and two $600 portable generators were stolen from Home Depot, 7001 Southern Blvd.
Theft: Authorities went to Green Township to pick up 49-year-old Laura C. Blake of West Third Street, Salem, who was charged after an employee with Denny’s Restaurant, 154 Boardman-Canfield Road, had reported $187 stolen June 6 from her purse.
Stolen property: Officers booked 22-year-old Malcolm A. Carter of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Youngstown, on a misdemeanor receiving-stolen-property charge after a Mathews Road man had reported his $600 iPhone stolen earlier this month.
Theft: Bobby L. Burkey III of Woodworth Road, North Lima, faced charges of theft and possession of a drug-abuse instrument after $9.55 worth of merchandise was stolen from Marc’s, 7121 Tiffany Blvd. The 29-year-old Burkey, who was wanted on two Beaver Township warrants, also had two syringes common in drug use, a report showed.
Theft: Kimberly M. Slipski, 39, of Cumberland Drive, Youngstown, and 36-year-old Joseph P. Hunter of Market Street, Boardman, were charged with one felony count each of theft and complicity to theft, respectively, after 53 articles of clothing valued at $1,588 were stolen from the J.C. Penney store in Southern Park Mall. Hunter also was wanted on a probation-violation charge.
Theft: An Android tablet was missing from a vehicle in the 10 block of Cathy Way.
Theft: Two credit cards, a wallet and other items were removed from a car in the 700 block of Wildwood Drive.
Theft: Someone took a purse, an iPhone and other property from a vehicle in the 200 block of Argyle Avenue.

Burglary: To an apartment in the 100 block of Shields Road, though police found no signs of forced entry. A 42-inch flat-screen TV and an Xbox 360 game system were missing.
Harassment: An Arlene Avenue woman said a man had threatened to damage her vehicle if she failed to pay money she supposedly owed.
Theft: Alan D. Jornigan, 20, of Neilson Avenue, Youngstown, along with two Struthers teens, 15 and 17, were charged with stealing two sets of Bluetooth headphones and two Bluetooth speakers from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive.
Domestic violence: Brandon L. Dunn, 27, of Forest Park Place, Boardman, faced charges of domestic violence and obstructing official business after a woman alleged he had kicked her during an argument. Dunn also hid from police, they contended.
Theft: Zhane D. Cummings, 20; Taylor M, Parker, 21; Nauteaka D. Thomas, 18; and a 17-year-old girl, all of Akron, faced charges that included felony theft, receiving stolen property, possession of criminal tools and drug abuse after more than $2,100 worth of clothing and undergarments was stolen from Victoria’s Secret in Southern Park Mall. In addition, found was suspected cocaine, along with clothing thought to have been stolen from two other mall stores, police said.
Fraud: A Salem woman reported that while at a Southwestern Run Place business, someone in Sarasota, Fla., called, saying that a $5,000 personal loan had been taken out in her name.
Robbery: A clerk with Family Dollar, 4026 South Ave., told authorities a man in his 40s, about 300 pounds and wearing a New York Yankees hat, a gray T-shirt and blue jeans pointed an object from under his shirt that she believed was a firearm and demanded money. The robber fled with 15 packs of cigarettes, a report showed.
Theft: Three gift cards worth a total of $85 were removed from a desk at a Bev Road business.
Harassment: A worker for a South Avenue pizzeria reported having received such calls and Facebook posts.
Theft of services: Someone without permission reportedly dumped garbage into two trash bins near the Boardman Plaza on Boardman-Canfield Road.

Attempted burglary: A woman noticed someone had tampered with and damaged a door, apparently in an effort to enter her apartment in the 6100 block of Market Street.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke into Fithian Wilbert Burial Vaults Inc., 6234 Market St., and tampered with a vending machine.
Stolen property: Authorities received information pertaining to a possibly stolen vehicle before apprehending 32-year-old Jarrett L. Ortiz of Hazelton Avenue, Youngstown, and charging him with one felony count each of receiving stolen property, obstructing official business and failure to comply with police. Ortiz led officers on a pursuit in the stolen car that reached speeds between 70 and 80 mph and after losing control and hitting a car on Meadowbrook Avenue, he led them on a foot chase, a report stated. Also, 26-year-old Nicholas A. Gianfrancesco of Market Street, Boardman, was charged with one misdemeanor count of obstructing official business.
Theft: Someone broke into two vehicles in the 7400 block of Hitchcock Road and took $280 in change, a wallet and over-the-counter pills.
Identity fraud: A Midwood Circle woman told police she believed someone had used her address to obtain mail.
Theft: A small amount of loose change was removed from a car in the 500 block of Squirrel Hill Drive.
Theft: A township woman reported her $900 iPhone stolen while in the Southern Park Mall food court.
Identity theft: A Glendale Avenue man found out someone without authorization had used his personal information to set up a cable account in Chicago after he received a $1,632 bill.
Theft: A cellphone and cellphone charger were stolen from a car in the 600 block of Squirrel Hill Drive.
Theft/drugs: Jani C.M. Bratten, 31, of Moyer Avenue, Boardman, was charged with theft as well as possession of marijuana and dangerous drugs after a toothbrush, a tank top, a pair of pants and a package of tampons were stolen from Walmart. Bratten also had 0.08 grams of suspected marijuana and a bag containing seven over-the-counter pills, a report stated.
Theft: Nicole M. Carder, 33, of Glenwood Avenue, Boardman, was charged with stealing six greeting cards and several small items from Walmart.
Trespassing: While responding to a possible fight in the 7400 block of Market Street, authorities charged 24-year-old Te’John J. Lawrence with criminal trespassing and obstructing official business after an official with a township flag-football league alleged Lawrence, of Compton Lane, Youngstown, tried to fight with various people on the field after becoming angered that his team had lost. Lawrence also refused several times to leave; in addition, he failed to provide his identification to police, they said.
Burglary/auto theft: A Thalia Avenue woman reported that while asleep, someone had entered her residence through a partially open kitchen window and stole her purse and car keys. A short time later, the victim’s husband came home and discovered her 2012 Ford Escape missing.

Arrest: A vehicle check near Midlothian Boulevard resulted in the arrest of Darlene A. Koziorynsky of Spring Street, Struthers. Koziorynsky, 56, was wanted on a Struthers Municipal Court bench warrant accusing her of failing to appear in court.
Domestic violence: Mia D. Grandberry, 22, of Sunshine Avenue, Youngstown, faced two domestic-violence charges after her mother, of Boardman, alleged Grandberry had threatened to shoot her. The mother further alleged Grandberry had sent a text message in which she threatened to shoot the accuser’s husband in the head, though no gun was found, a report said.
Criminal mischief: Someone tossed eggs at a residence in the 6600 block of Ron Joy Place, damaging a window and a portion of vinyl siding.
Criminal damaging: Several eggs were thrown at a home in the 7700 block of Silver Fox Drive, damaging a front-screen window.
Identity theft: A Romaine Avenue woman reported having gotten an email confirming a purchase she had never made, then discovering six such transactions totaling $718.
Theft: An American flag was removed from a yard in the 200 block of Meadowbrook Avenue.
Trespassing: A woman reported a possible prowler at her Huntington Drive residence, and that someone was loudly pounding on her front door.
