Family fun day at golf center

Parto’s Golf Center, 2231 Coitsville Hubbard Road (state Route 616), will have Family Fun Fridays the last Friday of each month, beginning this week. The special, which runs all day, offers one small basket of range balls, one round of mini golf, one round of par-3 golf and a movie at dusk, for $5 per person (additional rounds of golf for $2). Christian TV show is seeking actors

Extras are needed for a filming session of “2REAL4U,” a Christian mini-series being created by Earlina Gilflord-Weaver, an evangelist from Youngstown. Dog-rescue group benefit dinner

Legacy Dog Rescue will have a pasta dinner from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday at Paladin Brewery, 6520 Mahoning Ave. Tickets are $10 at the door. The Mark Soini Trio will play from 7 to 9 p.m., and there will also be a silent auction.
