Speakers are highlight of Canfield Lions May meetings

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Dr. Lydia Rose, above, chairwoman of international relations for Lions District 13-D, was a guest speaker during a Canfield Lions meeting on May 5. Dr. Rose discussed Student Volunteer Services to Humanity, an organization of optometry students who visit foreign countries to perform eye exams and distribute donated eyeglasses from the Lions. Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Mike Vitullo, below, was welcomed to speak at the Lions May 19 meeting; Vitullo shared information about the patrol’s distracted drivers program and other activities, and answered questions from club members.
