Archie Manning named 2016 NFF Gold Medal recipient


IRVING, Texas — The National Football Foundation & College Hall of Fame announced today that Archie Manning has been named the 2016 recipient of the NFF Gold Medal in recognition of his exceptional leadership and unblemished reputation.

He will be honored for his achievements and contributions to the United States during the 59th NFF Annual Awards Dinner on Dec. 6 at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City.

Manning played 13 years as a quarterback in the NFL, most with the New Orleans Saints. He is the father of New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and retired QB Peyton Manning.
