Jordan Brown, accused at age 11 in February 2009 of murdering his dad’s fiancee and her unborn son in Lawrence County, temporarily will be living in Boardman, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
Brown, now 18, will be living with his father’s aunt and uncle until he goes to college, according to an article in Sunday’s edition.
Brown was found delinquent in the shotgun murder of 26-year-old Kensie Houk and her unborn baby boy in 2009. Judge John Hodge of Lawrence County Common Pleas Court has jurisdiction over Brown until he’s 21 and put him on probation.
Cyber bullying

An annual cosmetic event this year aims to put the focus on cyber bullying through an Instagram campaign. Tarte Cosmetics will bring makeup artists Saturday to Ulta at the Shops at Boardman Park, 403 Boardman-Poland Road. Makeovers will be done by appointment from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The company has teamed up with Bystander Revolution, an anti-bullying organization.
Customers will be encouraged to take photos in a “selfie booth” and pledge to help combat cyber bullying on social platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Participants will have a chance to win one of three baskets of makeup valued at $200. To reserve a space, call 330-629-6276.

Free transportation to farmers market
WARREN
Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership is collaborating with Second Baptist Church to offer free transportation to and from the weekly Warren Farmers Market on Courthouse Square.
Transportation is focused on TMHA sites but open to all Warren residents with Second Baptist vehicles moving from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Details are available by calling 330-599-9275.
TNP launched and maintains the market in in collaboration with Trumbull County Health Department’s Creating Healthy Communities, Mercy Health, TMH Foundation and Lake-to-River Cooperative so the public may purchase fresh food directly from local farmers and food producers. The market accepts the Ohio Direction Card for SNAP/EBT benefits as well as credit and debit cards.
