Parents announce Morgan-Herman August wedding

BOARDMAN

Barry and Linda Morgan of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Allison Morgan, and Mike Herman, both of Boardman. His parents are Jak and Kelly Filisky of Hanoverton.

The couple are planning a 5:30 p.m. wedding Aug. 20 and reception to follow at the Barn & Gazebo Ltd. in Salem. Invitations will be extended for both events.

The bride-elect is a science teacher at Boardman Local schools. She earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Ohio University and a master’s degree in library and information science from Kent State University.

The future groom works as a field services manager for Northern States Metals. He received a bachelor’s degree in justice studies from KSU.
