Upton Association prepares for summer events

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Darlyn Gardiner, left, vice president and Sue Stoddart, member of the Upton Association, are sorting items for the summer garage sale that will take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 8 and 9 at the Harriet Taylor Upton House, 380 Mahoning Ave., downtown Warren. The sale will benefit the historical home of suffragette Harriet Taylor Upton. Upton House will be open for a music and art hop from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Open houses will be from 2 to 4 p.m. July 3 with a Christmas in July display and Aug. 7 with the home decorated in gold. For information visit www.uptonhouse.org.
