Two men charged in armed robbery of disabled man
CAMPBELL
Two men will be arraigned today in Campbell Municipal Court in connection with an alleged armed robbery of a disabled man.
Tavon Fulton, 20, of Youngstown and Earl Marlowe, 26, of Struthers face felony aggravated-robbery charges.
A 24-year-old Campbell man called police May 5 to report he had been robbed at gunpoint the night before. The man said he had been fearful to call for help immediately after the robbery occurred, according to a police report.
The man reported two men arrived at his Youngstown Metropolitan Housing Authority residence on Jackson Street and stole $200 from his pockets.
The man also reported Fulton fired a handgun in his direction after taking the money. Neighbors later told police they heard gunshots that night, the report states. Police say the victim is disabled.
Campbell Police completed an investigation and issued warrants for the arrests of Fulton and Marlowe Thursday. U.S. Marshals arrested Fulton and Marlowe Thursday at Garland Avenue and Plaza View in Youngstown, respectively.
Marshals reported finding a handgun with ammunition in a Garland Avenue home where Fulton was staying.
