Cops find cash and heroin at Southern Boulevard home

YOUNGSTOWN

Police found about $1,800 in cash Thursday and heroin and pills while serving a search warrant at a 3600 Southern Blvd. home.

Taken into custody on charges of possession of heroin and possession of drugs was James Davis, 53, who lists the home as his address and Justin Davis, 31, of Pine Lake Road in Salem. They are not related.

A Campbell woman, Melissa Bounds, 24, was also cited for possession of drug abuse instruments and released.

Officers with the vice squad and the Community Police Unit served the warrant about 6 p.m.
