Allegiant celebrates 10 years at Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport

VIENNA — Allegiant celebrated 10 years of service today at the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport today with round-trip vouchers for 10 local customers.

"It's exciting," said Dan Dickten, director of aviation at the airport. "I hope I am here in 10 years to do it again."

The Las Vegas-based airline started at Youngstown with an Orlando destination. It went on to add fights to Myrtle Beach, S.C., St. Petersburg, Fla., and Fort Myers, Fla.

The airport is in talks with Allegiant on a fifth destination.

On July 1, the airport will see the launch of a new daily service to Chicago O'Hare International Airport offered by Aerodynamics Inc.
