Clinton rolls out millions for ad campaign that includes Ohio, Valley

YOUNGSTOWN

The presidential campaign of Democrat Hillary Clinton is spending $121,000 on TV commercials in Youngstown as part of her first general-election advertising campaign.

Clinton’s campaign began airing two commercials today in eight battleground states, including Ohio. The commercials focus on her work helping children.

The campaign says the ads “are part of an eight-figure, initial six-week television buy.”

NBC reported the buy is at least $7.3 million with $1.3 million in four Ohio media markets – Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton and Youngstown. NBC also reported that $121,000 will be spent in Youngstown.

Her campaign said the ads show the difference between Clinton, who's fought for families and children, and Donald Trump, the Republican presidential candidate.

Republican National Committee spokesman Michael Short described the commercials as "debunked falsehoods about her biography."
