MGCY presents scholarships, youth gardening awards

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Recognitions for local youth was the highlight of a recent meeting of the Men’s Garden Club of Youngstown. Since 1991, MGCY has annually awarded scholarships to college students in the field of horticulture. Below, certificates were also awarded to Emma Bushing, left, who earned second place prize in a MGCY competition with her sunflower, and Jenna Wilkinson, who placed second with her gourd, presented by John Schinker, national vice president, center.
