Woman stabbed but won't talk to police

YOUNGSTOWN

Reports said a 47-year-old woman who was stabbed twice in the side about 7 p.m. in the 600 block of Magnolia Avenue has been hesitant to talk to police.

When police responded after a call for a large fight they were told of the stabbing but the victim had already been taken to ValleyCare Northside Medical Center, reports said.

Witnesses said the woman was stabbed while trying to break up a fight between her son and her daughter's boyfriend, reports said.
