Warren man assaulted with pipe

WARREN

A man, 40, of Warren, suffered a severe laceration after being hit with a pipe outside of a home in the 1000 block of Elm Road Northeast at 9:40 p.m. Monday.

The man said when he arrived at the home, where he had been living with a woman, numerous people started to assault him, including the one with a pipe.

The woman said the fight started after the male victim started yelling at everyone. The woman said she was assaulted also, but she refused medical treatment.

The male was taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment.
