Three charged at drug house for stealing grill from city park

YOUNGSTOWN

Warrants were issued Monday for three people accused of taking a grill early Friday from Pemberton Park to sell at a nearby McDonald's.

Ricky Reese, age not available; Joseph DiGiacomo, 29; and Jessica Quick, 24, all of Youngstown, are all charged with possession of criminal tools and theft.

The three were arrested about 12:36 a.m. after an officer on patrol spotted a car the three were driving in leaving the area of the park with the trunk open and an object sticking out. When the car stopped in the driveway of a drug house in the 1100 block of Ivanhoe Avenue, police determined it was a grill from the park.

Reports said Reese told police they were going to sell the grill at the McDonald's on East Midlothian Boulevard but decided to drive away from the restaurant when they spotted police.
