Hubbard Township has a new trustee

HUBBARD — Hubbard Township trustees have appointed a replacement for Joseph Gleydura, a trustee who died May 22 at age 76.

The board received five letters of interest to fill Gleydura’s position and selected Jonathan Dowell, a former trustee.

Other applicants were Rick Hernandez, Jr., Jeffrey Rowlands, Jason Tedrow and Lawrence Wilson, according to a township news release.

Dowell will serve the remainder of Gleydura’s term, which expires Dec. 31, 2017.
