Dr. Michael Lyons of Advanced Chiropractic and Physical Therapy in Boardman and Hubbard was featured recently in an 11-minute video documentary produced by the Ohio State Chiropractic Association profiling one of his patients, Troy Mazur of Warren and his troubles with chronic pain and opioid addiction. Simon Roofing, headquartered in Boardman and one of the largest national manufacturers/installers of commercial roofing systems, has been honored with a “Money-Saving Products” award from the commercial facility management trade publication Buildings magazine. The publication’s June issue will feature Simon Roofing’s “Three-Phase Roof Restoration” system, a cost-effective way for facility managers to extend the life and warranty of their commercial roofing assets by spreading the work and the expense over multiple years. The Three-Phase Restoration system is customized to the specific application, and results in considerably less cost and disruption than a replacement. Money-Saving Products winners are selected by Buildings’ editorial staff based on entries’ relevance to commercial building management and potential for cost savings.

Auto-Owners Insurance recently announced Champion Insurance of Austintown has been named one of the top 10 growth agencies for the company in Ohio for 2015. The agency was recognized at a luncheon meeting and at a reception with all regional associates, where the company and other recipients were presented with a plaque commemorating their accomplishments. Champion Insurance of Austintown has represented Auto-Owners since 1999.

NEW HIRE

Farmers Trust Co. continues its growth with the addition of Todd P. Finn as a new trust investment officer. Finn is a CFA Charterholder with five years of trust portfolio management experience. After graduating from Youngstown State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, he is pursuing a master’s degree in financial economics at YSU, as well. Before joining Farmers, Finn served as a trust-equity analyst and a trust-investment officer with Huntington Trust.
