Helping refugees

First Federated Church, 10786 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson, is collecting first-aid kit supplies, household cleaning products and school items for an upcoming mission trip visiting refugee families in the Toledo area. First Federated, an interdenominational church, was founded in 1928. It is home of three denominations – Disciples of Christ, Presbyterian and United Church of Christ.

Collection: Now through June 24.

Donations: Monetary donations may be made on the church website, www.firstfederatedchurch.net, or sent to First Federated Church, P.O. Box 188, North Jackson, OH 44451.
