Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will be published on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. The Religion deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday for publication that Saturday. Central Christian Church, 2051 E. Market St., Warren: “Having Fun with Bible Stories” is the theme of the session planned from 6 to 7:30 p.m. June 20 to 24. Activities for 4- to 11-year-olds include Bible stories, crafts, recreation and snacks. There is no charge, but registration is preferred so ample supplies will be provided. Call the church office at 330-372-1676 between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. weekdays or send email to WarrenCentralCC@neo.rr.com. The church also will offer an adult VBS from noon to 2:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays, July 12 to 29, on the theme “Enjoying the Presence of the Holy Spirit.” Sessions will start with a light lunch followed by a class, “Who Is the Holy Spirit?” then an activity. Church Hill United Methodist Church, 189 Church Hill-Hubbard Road, Liberty: “Cave Quest, Following Jesus, the Light of the World” is the theme of the session set from 9 a.m. to noon June 27 to July 1 for children from preschool age through sixth grade. All children of the community may attend. Registration is being accepted by Terri West at 330-539-5743 or the church at 330-759-0118. Registration also will be accepted the first day.

First Federated Church, 10786 Mahoning Ave, North Jackson: “Deep Sea Discovery” is the theme of the free activity planned from 9 a.m. to noon June 20 to 24 for children 4 to 12 years old. There will be snacks and games at Pelican Pier, exploration of mysteries of the sea with science and crafts at Curiosity Cavern and details on how to serve others at E.C.H.O. Sea Sub. Five “dive markers” will help children learn that God is with them wherever they go. Register by Thursday by calling the church at 330-538-3936 or online at www.vacationbibleschool.com/ffchurch. A daily offering by the children, which will support a local mission project, is encouraged.

Third Baptist Church, 1177 Park Hill Drive, Youngstown: “I’ve Got Talent” is the theme of the session planned from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through June 24. The free program will feature Bible stories, crafts, music, games and food for participants from 4 to 17 years old. For information, call the church at 330-743-0640.

Southington United Methodist Church, town center on state Route 305, Southington: “Surf Shack” is the theme of the program scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. June 20 to 23 for 3- to 12-year-olds.
