Program planned
YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown Business Incubator will co-host a meeting from 9 to 11 a.m. June 21 at America Makes, the National Additive Manufacturing Innovation Institute, 236 W. Boardman St.
The goal of the program is to identify Ohio manufacturers that can take advantage of additively manufactured low-volume tooling. The groups also hope to provide a better understanding of the current capabilities and to ensure that Ohio manufacturers and tool-and-die makers can get all the competitive advantages that the technology offers.

Shot outside airport
DALLAS
A police officer shot and wounded a man Friday outside a Dallas airport after the man attacked a woman believed to be the mother of his children and then threatened the officer with large rocks, police said.
Police Chief David Brown said Shawn Nicholas Diamond, 29, of Edgewood, Md., advanced menacingly with a rock in each hand toward an officer who had his gun drawn outside the Dallas Love Field terminal Friday, telling the officer, “You’re going to have to shoot.”
Diamond was in stable condition at a Dallas hospital, Brown said at a news conference.
Voting-rights case
WICHITA, Kan.
Kansas cannot prevent thousands of eligible voters from casting ballots in the November federal election because they didn’t prove they were U.S. citizens when registering to vote at motor vehicle offices, a federal appeals court ruled Friday.
The state has said as many as 50,000 people could be affected.
