STRUTHERS

Vinny Lucente earned the win, allowing two runs while scattering seven hits in four innings of work. He also struck out three and allowed zero walks. Brady Sigut had a two-run double for Astro (8-1) while Matt Gibson hit an RBI single and scored two runs. Tyler Cannon added an RBI single as well. Tim Herberger had two hits for Knightline (5-4). Astro scored six runs on just five hits and jumped out to a 5-2 lead after two innings while Knightline only managed two runs on nine hits.

Avalanche 3, Southside Recycling 0

STRUTHERS

Pat Carano tossed a two-hit shutout for Avalanche (5-3). Carano struck out seven while walking for. Southside’s Laz LeBron also pitched a two-hitter, giving up two earned runs. Chase Wilcox had an RBI-single and scored a run, while Mark Clause and Brad Gibson each scored a run in the win. Jeep DiCiccio and Devin Curd each hit a single for Southside (2-6).

Baird Brothers 13, SBA Aces 0

STRUTHERS

Baird Brothers (5-4) took care of business in five innings. Winning pitcher Alex Strobert pitched a one-hit shutout with ten strikeouts and no walks. Dom Bucko was the top hitter with a home run, a double and a single for four RBIs and two runs scored. Jesse Richards had two hits for two RBIs and two runs scored for Baird while Stobert helped himself out with an RBI-double and two runs scored. Garrison Weiland had the only hit for SBA (0-9).

STRUTHERS

Astro (10-5) put up a six-run fifth inning to earn the win. Cameron Kreps had two hits for two RBIs and a run scored while Dylan Gurski slugged two hits and drove in three runs. Marco DeFalco added two hits and a run scored. Carter Chinn had a hit and scored three times while Justin Stewart added a hit and two RBIs. Jackson Deemer slugged two doubles for an RBI and a run scored for Creekside (10-6).

Baird Brothers 13, SBA Aces 2

STRUTHERS

Baird Brothers (13-2) ended the contest in five innings. Winning pitcher Nick Bianco allowed two unearned runs on two hits. Brandon Youngs led Baird with three hits, including a triple and a double for an RBI and two runs scored. Isiah Lucas hit a three-run triple. Chase Staunch hit a double and scored a run for SBA (6-9). Sean Davis had both RBIs for SBA.
