Joanna Lenefonte engaged to wed Ivan Garcia

Joe and Mary Jo Lenefonte of Boardman are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Joanna Lenefonte, and Ivan Garcia, both of Ohio.

Greg and Esmeralda Garcia of Texas are the parents of the future groom.

St. Charles Church in Boardman will be the setting of the open wedding at 11 a.m. Sept. 24. Invitations will be issued for a reception at Mr. Anthony’s.

The bride-to-be earned degrees in criminology and Italian at Ohio State University and University of Dayton School of Law. She is an attorney with Young & Alexander Co., L.P.A. in Dayton.

Her fiance graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American with a degree in criminal justice. He is employed by the United States government.
