Four local junior golfers will participate in the American Junior Golf Association Mill Creek Foundation All-Star Tournament later this month.
The tournament runs from June 19-23 at Mill Creek Golf Course.
Keegan Butler (Cardinal Mooney) qualified in the boys division, while Hannah Keffler (Canfield), Hadley Speilvogel (Mooney) and Gillian Cerimele (Canfield) qualified in the girls division.
They did so this past weekend at a local junior qualifier at Mill Creek — the home course for all four.
Butler will be a sophomore at Mooney next fall. He was a member of the Cardinals golf team in 2015 and lettered as a freshman.
Cerimele and Keffler will both be sophomores next fall at Canfield, while Speilvogel will be a sophomore at Mooney.
Speilvogel was an individual district qualifier last season for the Cardinals as a freshman.
Keffler, meanwhile, has already clinched her spot in The Flynn Automotive Group Juniors Greatest Golfer of the Valley 17-U championship by winning the tournament’s opening round on May 15.
The final round is set for July 22.
