Historical society to offer roundtables

SALEM

Salem Historical Society will conduct monthly history roundtables in the Dale Shaffer meeting room at the Dale Shaffer Research Library, 239 S. Lundy Ave., on the second Sunday through October.

These free gatherings allow attendees to share memories and gather information for the library archives.

Sunday’s topic is “Cars, Dealers, Service Stations, Automotive Parts and Manufacturers.” The session will run from 4 to 5:30 p.m. with suggested parking at the Timberlane’s. For information call the society at 330-337-8514.

Church festival will aid day camp

NORTH LIMA

Mount Olivet United Church of Christ, 410 W. South Range Road, will host a strawberry festival from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Donations will be accepted.

All proceeds will benefit the Community Day Camp of North Lima.
