FAMILY FUN FRIDAYS
When: Friday through Aug. 26, 11 a.m.–1 p.m.
What: Each Friday, take part in fun drop-in activities in the Family Garden. Learn about the different parts of plants and what makes them grow. Special guests visit each week with activities like yoga, storytelling, and more.

BREEDING BIRDS
When: Saturday, 9-11:30 a.m.
What: Over 100 bird species are observed in the forests, fields, and skies of the Nature Center annually. Explore the variety of breeding birds at the Nature Center by discussing breeding strategies, the variety of nests created, and the unique vocalizations of each species which can be used to identify the birds by sound. A bird walk is included.

FLORAL DRAWING WORKSHOP
When: Saturday, June 18 and 26
What: During this three-day workshop, use your creative skills and journey into the stages of floral drawing with Marianne Hilke. Learn valuable drawing techniques and problem-solving, then delve into two different projects, one with graphite and the other with watercolor.

GARDENING FOR POLLINATORS
When: Sunday, 2-3:30 p.m.
What: As most gardeners know, pollination is a very important process that occurs in our gardens in order for many fruits and seeds to develop. So why not create gardens that attract a variety of pollinators? This presentation will cover the elements needed to create a pollinator garden or enhance an existing garden to be more attractive to pollinators. Participants will receive plants and a pollinator home to begin or enhance their gardens to be more pollinator-friendly.
