Boardman Park's Adventure Day Camp begins Monday

BOARDMAN — Boardman Park’s Adventure Day Camp is set to begin Monday.

The Youngstown State University Anthropology Department will be on hand Wednesday through Friday. On Wednesday and Thursday, they will talk to the campers and allow them to participate in a hands-on workshop setting.

At 11 a.m. next Friday, they will set up a dig for the campers in the sand volleyball court and allow the campers to dig for artifacts.

This will be the fourth year the department has come out.

The public is invited to come out for any of the days, but attendance would be especially appreciated for the dig.
