Neu 13th in NCAA nationals

EUGENE, ORE. — Youngstown State senior Conner Neu finished 13th in the hammer throw at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Wednesday at Hayward Field.

It marks the second time in his career he received second-team All-America status on the outdoor circuit.

Neu registered a throw of 66.33m (217-7) on his second throw which left him in fourth place following the conclusion of the first heat.
