Free grief camp offered for children

YOUNGSTOWN — “Stepping Stones to a Better Tomorrow,” a free grief camp for children 6 to 12 years old, is planned from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 16 and 17 at Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road, in the city's Cornersburg area, with a family fun day from noon to 4 p.m. June 18.

Sister Pat Fesler, grief support coordinator at Zion Lutheran Church and Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home with chapels in Austintown, Boardman-Canfield, Poland and North Jackson, leads the camp and other sessions. She works out of the Austintown funeral home site. Donations and Higgins-Reardon underwrite the program; the church provides the meeting space.
