Country music legend Loretta Lynn will come to the Harv Auditorium at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort on Sept. 10 for an 8 p.m. concert.

Hoyt seeks entries for art competition
NEW CASTLE, PA.
As part of the third annual Arts on the Riverwalk, the Hoyt Institute of Fine Art will have an arts competition with entries on display during the festival July 9, and running through Aug. 26, at the Confluence gallery, 214 E. Washington St., downtown.
The competition is open to artists living within 50 miles of New Castle. Entries will be juried and cash prizes awarded.
All media will be accepted, except video and installation. Size is limited to 36 inches in any direction, and 100 pounds in weight. All works must be original and completed in the last three years.
Artists may apply in person at the Hoyt on June 25 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There is a $10 entry fee per work, and a two-work per artist limit. Call 724-652-2882 or go to hoytartcenter for an application or information.
