Officers commended

SEBRING

As a result of multiple drug-related arrests made in May, the police department says commendations were issued to several officers in appreciation of their professionalism participating in the successful operations combating the drug trade.

Because this was an inter-agency effort, several officers from the Alliance Police Department were recognized as well.

These Sebring officers received Drug Buster medals with a bronze palm leaf: Chief Ray Heverly, Patrolman Darren Eberling, Detective Ray Harris, Patrolman Kylee Simmons and Sgt. William Faudree.

Alliance officers recognized are Chief Scott Griffith, Capt. James Hilles, Detective Stephen Minich and Detective Robert Rajean.
