Schaffers' 50th marked with dinner June 4

NORTH LIMA

William Schaffer married the former Shirley Scarazzo Feb. 5, 1966, at Bethel Lutheran Church, Boardman. Their children honored them with a celebration dinner June 4 at the Springfield Grille in Boardman.

Their children are Kelly Florian of Lakewood, Ohio, and William Schaffer of Largo, Fla. They also have two grandchildren.

The Schaffers of North Lima are members of the Southside and Canfield Duplicate Bridge clubs.

Mrs. Schaffer retired in 1993 from Cailor Fleming Insurance Agency. She is a Youngstown Salem USBC-Women’s Bowling Association member emeritus and is listed in its bowling hall of fame.

Her husband worked for GF Office Furniture in Youngstown as director of information systems, and retired in 2005. He is a member of VFW and Eagles, and is a U.S. Navy veteran.
