Junior Civic League to sponsor annual scholarship brunch

The Junior Civic League will sponsor its annual scholarship brunch at 11 a.m. June 25 at Holiday Inn South, 7410 South Ave.

The Rev. Dr. Lewis Macklin II will be the keynote speaker, and the Daughters of Bethel Praise dancers of New Bethel Baptist Church will entertain.

Tickets are $20 per person and can be obtained from Veronica at rhonidev@aol.com or 330-727-4540, or from any Junior Civic League member.

A brunch buffet will be served including buttermilk pancakes, syrup, country potatoes, bacon, sausage links, assorted breakfast pastries and assorted fresh fruit. There also will be an omelet station with onions, mushrooms, peppers, ham, bacon, sausage and cheddar cheese. Coffee, tea and chilled juices will be available.

There will be a door prize of a raffle for a board of scratch-offs valued at $100.
