Lists of vacation Bible schools open to the public will be published on the Religion page. Please include the following information: the complete name of the church; address with city or township; time, date and location of sessions; program theme; ages or grades; and whether it’s free or there is a fee. Information should be submitted two weeks before the school’s opening or its registration deadline. The Religion deadline is 5 p.m. Wednesday for publication that Saturday. Box 780, Youngstown, Ohio, 44501-0780. For verification, include a name and phone number of a contact person, which will not be published.

Blessed Sacrament Parish Catholic Community, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren: “Deep Sea Discovery, God is with Me Wherever I Go,” is the theme of the session set from 9:15 a.m. to noon June 13-16. The program is designed for students who have completed pre-kindergarten through grade five or 4 to 11 years old. (A child must be 4 years old by June 13 to attend.) Cost is $15 a child with $40 limit for families for registration by Wednesday; and $20 a child and $50 limit for families after Wednesday. All registration is due by Friday. Lunch and closing celebration will be at noon June 16.

Clarks Mills United Methodist Church, 3813 Hadley Road, Clarks Mills, Pa.: “Surf Shack, Catch the Wave of God’s Amazing Love” is the theme of the session from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Friday It is open to 3- to 17-year-olds. For information, call 724-253-2424.

Coalburg United Methodist Church, 1906 Wick Campbell Road, Hubbard Township: “Cave Quest Adventure” is planned from 6 to 8:30 p.m. June 20-24. The free activity is for participants from 3 years old to junior high school age. It will feature Bible stories, crafts, music and snacks. For information, call 330-307-3437.

Girard Community Churches, “Deep Sea Discovery” will be the theme of the session planned from 9 a.m. to 12 noon June 27 to July 1 at St. Rose School, 60 E. Main St., Girard. Children ages 4 years old through fifth graders may attend. Registration must be completed by June 15 or earlier. A $5 registration fee per child should accompany the registration form, which is available at local churches, Girard Public Library or by calling Sister Kathleen at 330-545-4351. Registration forms also will be available the first day of school. Children will discover how God is always with them, explore His presence in their lives and serve God by serving others. Activities include music, games, crafts and food. Monetary donations and new school supplies will be collected for Emmanuel Community Care Center. St. Rose parishioners are asked to assist on paint and decorate days, June 17, 20, 23 and 24. Contact Sister Kathleen to volunteer.

Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, Boardman: “Cave Quest, Following Jesus, the Light of the World” is scheduled from 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 20-29. There will be Bible stories, crafts, games and a cinema element for children from 4 years old (preschool) to 11 years old (sixth grade). At 7:45 p.m. June 29, children will share songs followed by an ice cream social. The program is free but registration is recommended. Forms are available in the Gathering Room or by requesting a form via email to JoshZ@GoodHopeBoardman.org

New Bethel Baptist Church, 1507 Hillman St., Youngstown: “I’ve Got Talent” is the theme of the activity set from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday for participants from 5 to 16 years old. The event is free. Pat Lee is director; call 330-744-2919.

Simon Road Church of God, 4750 Simon Road, Boardman: “Exploring Steps To Faith” will be the theme of the session planned from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 18 at the Ex-Servicemen’s Pavilion at Boardman Park. The program is geared for first- through fifth-graders. There is no charge for the activity; a free-will offering for missions will be taken.
