Sunshine Benefit golf outing set for July 16

LAKE MILTON

The Sunshine Benefit will host a golf outing July 16 at Lakeside Golf Course, 2402 SE River Road, followed by a steak dinner at Magilla’s Sports Bar and Grill, 255 S. Four-Mile Run Road, Austintown. All proceeds will go to the Simmons family of Mineral Ridge, whose 3 year-old son, Kolby, has been diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia.

The golf outing is a three-person scramble. Registration begins at 7 a.m. with a shotgun start at 9. There is a $225 fee per team, which includes greens fees, cart, continental breakfast, drinks and lunch at the turn, and a steak dinner. The steak dinner will begin at 2:30 p.m. and includes corn on the cob, baked potato and more. Tickets for nongolfers for the steak dinner are $30 each or two for $50.

Prizes will be awarded for the hole events, the 50-50 drawing and the basket auction at the dinner.
