MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA

Emily Kathleen Lawrence and Dane Andrew Adams, both of Melbourne, are announcing their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Parents of the bride-elect are James M. and Janyce Lawrence of Boardman, and parents of the future groom are Robert G. and Nathalie Adams of Hobart, Australia.

The couple plan to exchange vows Aug. 6 at St. John the Baptist Church in Napa, Calif. An evening reception will honor the couple at the Wedgewood Reception Centre in Napa.

The bride-to-be earned a bachelor’s degree in science and pharmacology from the University of Toledo, and is employed as a spine sales representative for Stryker Corp. in Melbourne.

The prospective groom is employed as the Victorian business manager for Stryker Corp. He received a bachelor’s degree in applied science from LaTrobe University and a master’s degree in business management from Deakin University.
