OVI checkpoint tonight on Mahoning

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force, in conjunction with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, will conduct a sobriety checkpoint from 11 tonight to 3 Friday morning at Mahoning Avenue near Raccoon Road.

Federal grant money finances the agency’s OVI checkpoints, which are intended to deter and detect impaired drivers and prevent fatal crashes.
