ASSOCIATIONS

Tri-Gold Prime Time Chapter of the American Business Women’s Association will meet Wednesday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. A social at 5:30 p.m. will precede the 6 p.m. dinner meeting. The menu will comprise pork chop, petite chicken cordon bleu, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans with mushroom and cream sauce, salad, rolls and butter, lemon delight and coffee or tea. The cost is $19, and guest speaker will be Nicole Cirbus, director of marketing for Woodlands Assisted Living and Home Care. CLASSES

Campbell Memorial January and June Classes of 1948 will meet for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Denny’s Restaurant in Boardman. All classmates and spouses are welcome.

Campbell Memorial Class of 1955 will meet for its monthly breakfast at 10 a.m. Saturday at What’s Cookin’ in the Mathews Road Plaza in Boardman. Classmates, spouses and guests are welcome.

Ursuline High School Class of 1951 will meet for brunch at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Holiday Inn in Boardman.

CLUBS

Altrusa Club of Youngstown will have its annual meeting and installation of officers at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Firestone Farms Clubhouse. Dinner will be catered for $14 per person. GROUPS

Frackfree Mahoning Valley Group will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday at First Unitarian Universalist Church, 1105 Elm St., Youngstown. Plans will be discussed for the National Day of Action set for Tuesday at public rallies in downtown Youngstown, Niles, Vienna and New Castle, Pa. Transcendental Interest Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Park Vista North Lounge, 1310 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. The talk will continue on St. Damien of Molokai, a Belgian priest who cared for those with leprosy on the island of Molokai until succumbing to the disease himself. It is a continuation of the Mahoning Valley Lifelong Learning Institute event which took place in May. There will be a film about St. Damien’s life and funeral. The Transcendental Interest Group is for those interested in exploring the inner way of knowing. It meets on the second Wednesday of every month and is coordinated by Agnes Martinko. The auxiliary’s executive committee will conduct its required quarterly meeting immediately after the general session.

R-Weigh Weight Support Groups meet on Mondays at First Friends Church, 1028 Jennings Ave., Salem. Afternoon weigh-in is from 1 to 1:30 p.m., and the meeting will follow at 1:45. Evening weigh-ins are from 5 to 6 p.m. followed by the meeting at 6:15. The first meeting is free. Guests are welcome. The club is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group of women helping women to lose weight. All money paid returns to the members in incentives to lose weight.
