South Range wins 7-1

In the Division III state semifinals, the South Range High School defeated Milan Edison 7-1 at Akron's Firestone Stadium.

South Range will play Wheelersburg on Saturday for the Division III crown.

The Raiders scored five runs in the fifth inning.

In her first at-bat at state, Madison Weaver hit a RBI double.

In the second inning, Felicia Gaeta tripled and scored.

Raiders pitcher Caragyn Yanek has allowed two runs in her past 26 innings.
