The Rust Belt Theater Company will present “I Stopped Listening: A One Woman Show,” featuring local actress and musician Lynn Sabeh, at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and again June 10 and 11. The theater is in Calvin Center, 755 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown. Tickets are $15 ($10 for students/seniors); call 330-507-2358 for reservations. “I Stopped Listening” is a tribute to overcoming hardship in the face of your own doubts. Sabeh gives voice to her inner doubt, via live interaction with prerecorded voice-overs, and explores all the highs and lows that accompany trying to make your own way in the world. The show uses comedy and earnestness to deal with themes of mental disorders, suicide, dating, body issues and more. Sabeh will be performing original music as well as classical and pop pieces with plenty of Broadway tunes to help tell her story.
