GIRARD — A woman was arraigned Tuesday in Girard Municipal Court for driving under the influence after Liberty police found her sleeping early Monday morning in her car while parked illegally outside Walmart on Goldie Road.

Officers reported waking Monique Curry, 31, of Youngstown and noticing that she smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes.

Curry failed a series of field sobriety tests and registered a blood alcohol content of 0.142, a police report states. The legal limit in Ohio is 0.08.
