Scleroderma Awareness Walk set Saturday in Boardman Park

BOARDMAN — A Scleroderma Awareness Walk is set for 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at Boardman Park, 375 Boardman-Poland Road.

Gina Marinelli will serve as host for the event. Money raised at the walk will benefit research and awareness for the autoimmune disorder.

The sunflower is an awareness symbol for scleroderma, and a collection of plastic sunflowers will be placed at the park entrance on U.S. Route 224.
