Judge Rusu to announce Mill Creek MetroParks board candidates today

YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning County Probate Judge Robert N. Rusu Jr., the appointing authority for the Mill Creek MetroParks board, later today will release the names of five individuals recommended to him by a selection committee to fill two board vacancies.

Sixteen people applied to fill the seats. The judge is personally contacting the 11 individuals who will not move forward in the selection process, his office said in a release today.

After they have been notified, he will release the names of the remaining five candidates.
